During frenzied trading activity as prices fell off a cliff, the exchange faced unexpected downtime. The outage meant the company's services suffered disruption between 2:16 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. UTC on Friday — minutes after BTC prices had suddenly tanked below $4,000.
